SEARCHING FOR THAT LIGHT
The darkness lingers, my fingers tremble,
I can
hear my jitters,
As
droplets fall from those glistening eyes,
Face
between knees, heart just shivering,
As the
same thought plays again on repeat,
I cant
do this anymore.
The silence
caves in, danger lurks,
And a
melancholic gloom hovers above,
But
just then a light of hope flickers,
Its
warmth hugs the cold and blankets the boundless bear,
A smile
creeps onto that face so lost,
As the
silence is silenced by an ever-growing laughter.
Those
joys and nostalgic memories have set my heart ablaze,
And my
feet ever ready to catch the winds of change,
Am I
ready yet? I guess we will never know,
But
where there is faith,
There
is no rock that remains unclimbed,
Where
the light of hope is recognized,
There
is no act of progress unacknowledged.
So keep
searching for that light of hope,
Once
caught, its change is irreversible,
Once caught, our strength is truly irrepressible.
